It's finally cold in the city. In the mornings on my way to the bus, I can see my breath! I've officially traded in my flats for a warmer combination of wool socks and closed-toe booties. What's even better is the air smells like ice and leaves and a little bit like rain and it's the most wonderful perfume.
We're taking off on Thursday morning to spend Thanksgiving by the sea. I'll have no cell phone reception, all the land in the world to walk, days in the barn with the horses, a visit to the ocean and my little brother home from college. So very grateful! Cheers to you all.
